Why Ai Morinaga?
Why not?
From the very first volume I bought of her work (Duck Prince vol.1!), I became instantly smitten! Her art, while very shoujo-ish and sophisticated, had a charm to it, especially in more comedic parts, and speaking of her humor, I had never laughed out loud as much as I had reading her manga since Crayon Shinchan. There's just this charm to Morinaga's manga that has gotten me to buy and collect just about all her works that have been released state-side so far.
There isn't much information I could find out about her as a person other than that her hometown is Okayama, Japan (Source: Anime News Network).
