Martha Lewis's White Chocolate Chip Macadamia Nut Cookies!

This is my Swedish grandmother's recipe. A rediscovered favorite in the Keller house.
Ingredients:
- 1/2 a cup butter
- 1/3 cup sugar
- 1/3 cup brown sugar
- 1 large egg
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 1 cup flour
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp baking soda
- 6 1/2 oz. white chocolate chips
- 3/4 cup halved macadamia nuts
Preparation:
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
- Cream butter, sugars, egg and vanilla.
- Add flour, baking soda, and salt.
- Mix well.
- Fold in white chocolate chips and nuts.
- Place 1/2 tablespoon amounts evenly on cookie sheet.
- Bake at 350 degrees for 11 minutes.
Makes approximately 2 dozen
