Ro's Broccoli Slaw

Coleslaw will never cross your mind once you've tasted Ro's Broccoli Slaw! This salad goes best with summer meals, such as burgers or hot dogs. Ro's broccoli slaw came from my cousin, Ro, at a family member's high school graduation party. Personally, I prefer it without the sunflower seeds, and luckily the great thing about this recipe is that you can alter it to your own personal tastes!

Ingredients:

Preparation:

  1. Spread almonds on a baking sheet and put into an oven that has been pre-heated to 350. Bake for about 5 minutes or until golden brown. Remove from oven and let cool.
  2. Chop scallions into 1/4 inch slices.
  3. Smash Ramen noodles into pieces that blend well with broccoli slaw mixture.
  4. Combine all dry ingredents in a large serving bowl and refridgerate until ready to combine with dressing.
  5. In a seperate bowl combine oil, vinegar, sugar and Ramen seasoning packet and mix well. Let set at room temperature for at least 2 hours.
  6. Mix dry ingredients and dressing together 1 hour prior to serving.
  7. Mix well when serving.

Serves approxomately 10 people.
