Sour Cream Cookies
"go ahead...eat the dough"
This is recipe for a sugar cookie, brought to my family by my grandma, Phyllis Richardson. The cookies are unusual in the fact that they are very fluffy; almost a mix between cookie and cake. Usually made around Christmas time, my family always decorates these cookies with red or green sprinkles. In the off chance that they are made during the year (not around Christmas), sprinkle the cookies with cinnamon.

Ingredients:

Preparation:

  1. Preheat Oven to 350 degrees
  2. Mix the sugar and butter until creamy
  3. Then add eggs
  4. Alternate adding the remaining dry ingredients and wet ingredients (Make sure to begin and end with adding the sour cream).
  5. Place table spoons of cookie dough onto your cookie sheet in rows
  6. Place cookie tray into oven for 10 minutes
  7. Take out of oven, let cool
  8. Decorate with sprinkles or cinnamon
